Cayman Gateway® was established in Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands in 2017 and specializes in enabling your e-commerce business to take online payments from debit/credit cards and clear funds direct to your Cayman Islands bank account.
Cayman Gateway started 2022 under new management, led by locally-based Caymanian's Kevin Foster (CEO) and Mariah Tibbetts (Managing Director), and has since grown its team to 15 full-time employees who, in addition to payment gateway expertize, specialize in website development, mobile app development, compliance, user experience (UX), sales funnel creation, conversion optimization, branding, and design.
The company's headquarters are in the heart of George Town, Grand Cayman, placing Cayman Gateway in a unique position to provide optional hands-on service as and when required with merchant's customer service requests, face-to-face meetings with banks and developers, and various 3rd-party partners. The company is fully PCI Compliant and is a trusted and valued 3rd-party service provider of several of Cayman's leading banks, and also utilizes advanced security software via MySecurePay™ which is part of the family group of businesses.
I had been a client of Cayman Gateway since 2019, so I knew the business and its owners very well and was always happy with the service. So, when the CEO position became vacant, I reached out to the owner to let him know I was interested and eager. This conversation happened on a Friday, and by the following Monday, I was acting-CEO. Since myself and the team began our influence over how the company is managed, we have made significant improvements to the software and customer service, and I can truly say that I beleive Cayman Gateway® is best in class in the Cayman Islands with regards to facilitating safe and secure online payments for businesses who wish to settle their debit/credit card transactions directly into their Cayman-based merchant bank account. After a 15-year career as a celebrity trainer whilst living in the UK, Kevin spotted a gap in the online market and in 2012 embarked on creating a suite of software for which he won prestigious awards for innovation, going on to work with global brand Adidas. Appointed as Cayman Gateway's CEO in 2022, Kevin brings a wealth of experience in the online space with expertize in website/app development and digital marketing. Kevin's strengths are business and marketing strategy, user experience (UX), design, and conversion optimization.
A certified chartered account (CPA) and Caymanian beauty queen and proudly held the title of Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2020. Mariah received a scholarship from Deloitte & Touche for her tertiary studies and graduated with 4 university degrees. Having worked at Deloitte for over 10 years, she has demonstrated excellence in audit & assurance, tax & accountancy, financial advisory, risk advisory, and IT consulting. As a proud Caymanian and invested partner in Cayman Gateway, Mariah is passionate about positively contributing to the online market in the Cayman Islands and helping local businesses grow. She is heavily involved in the Cayman community as a volunteer and a member of several local organizations including 100 Women in Finance and NextGen Cayman.

Having worked within Cayman Gateway since 2019, Sean is much loved by existing customers and is well versed in answering many frequently asked questions. With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Sean has excellent research skills and is meticulous in his testing procedures. You can rest assured your payment processing will be fully tried, tested, and ultra-professional before you go live. Sean has a keen interest in website development and is the first line of technical support, liaising with senior developers before relaying back to you in an easily digestible format.
